"Baylor has shaped me tremendously, as both a student and an individual, and this is only my sophomore year! Throughout my journey thus far at Baylor, I have significantly expanded my academic ability, forged life-long relationships with my peers and professors, and matured in my relationship with Christ. The intentional, caring nature of the professors I've encountered stands out as one of the key aspects that makes Baylor such an incredible institution. As a first generation college student, I cannot stress enough how important it is to get to know your professors and build relationships with them! They are there because they truly care about you and want to help you succeed! So do not hesitate to utilize their office hours, ask questions, etc. I am extremely thankful to be a Baylor Bear and I cannot wait to see where the next few years take me."
